First of all, you need to start with the right lubricant; unfortunately, many of the ones available on the market do not meet the requirements of the treadmill manufacturers and after using them, we can damage our treadmill.
A very simple way to check the quality of the product is the card test, just apply a little of the product to a dry sheet of paper or cardboard (not slippery) and wait 5 minutes, if our sample evaporates then we already know that this product is not suitable. Remember that, for example, a picture of a celebrity on the packaging does not indicate the quality of the purchased product.
Lubrication of the treadmill belt is performed approximately every 20-25 hours of machine operation, the first step is to unplug the device, then put your hand under the belt to check if it is dry, if so, you can start lubricating the belt. (if the top is wet, check again after 2-3 training sessions)
Before lubricating, always check whether the applicator tube is properly pressed in (a tube that is incorrectly installed may fall under the belt and then be very difficult to remove).
Lubrication of the running belt
Lubrication is performed by inserting the tube under the running belt and applying the preparation with a movement from the engine to the back of the treadmill. Try to apply it to the center of the running plate. The amount of the preparation applied depends on its manufacturer because the preparations differ in pressure and density. The best preparations have high pressure so the preparation covers the surface of the treadmill very nicely, while not evaporating after a while after lubrication.
Remember also that applying too much grease can have negative effects. A properly greased running board should have a thin film of our product.
