The PM5 monitor has a built-in heart rate receiver for use with ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart transmitters. Concept2 has also taken care of updating the input ports. The new PM5 monitor has the following ports:
- USB ports for cooperation with PC and USB Flash
- RJ45 ports for connecting monitors for competitions using Venue Race software
PM5 monitors allow you to compete without using a PC within your own mini radio network (up to 8 monitors in the network). You can use a USB Flash drive to save training data (the previous model allowed saving to a memory card). The PM5 monitor from Concept2 has a changed, refreshed design, and its backlight is active during training or when working with the monitor menu.
