ICARE - Specially created and developed by Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital and Research Institute in Lincoln, Nebraska, the ICARE system provides a safe and effective method of supporting patients with neuromuscular problems following stroke, TBI, SCI and other conditions. The ICARE system is equipped with intelligent leg movement support that allows for very accurate mimicry of electromyographic (EMG) and kinetic walking patterns.
The ICARE platform helps people regain or stabilize both walking and partial general physical fitness due to the optimal adjustment of muscle and cardiorespiratory training to the individual needs of each patient. We took special care to provide the greatest possible mechanical support - partial relief of body weight and movement support of handles and pedals so that each patient can comfortably perform their exercises.
