A two-section buckle provides a solid hold on the upper part of the shoe, a Velcro strap stabilizes the midfoot, and traditional lacing allows for individual adjustment to the shape of the foot. This set ensures that the foot does not move in the shoe, which significantly increases comfort and reduces the risk of injury.
